EMI Fall Meeting 2009
We had a wonderful meeting September 11 and 12, 2009 in Kentucky. We'll be updating this page with a report from the weekend. Friday, Sept 11, 1-5 pm at Asbury Equine Center! Workshops and Seminars, including a demonstration of the training of police horses, done by the students at Asbury in the Police Horse program. At 7 pm, Paul Daily of Wild Horse Ministries will work with a horse in the round pen, riding him for the first time. As he trains, Paul teaches from the Bible and relates stories of his own faith journey. There is no fee for the Friday meeting. The Friday activities will all take place at the Asbury College Equine Center. Asbury College Equine Center is in Wilmore, Kentucky (17 miles south of Lexington). (Click here for directions.) Saturday, Sept 12, 10 am to 5 pm at Kentucky Horse Park! This is a special "Church and Community Day" at the park. Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY will be the location of the 2010 World Equestrian Games. We will have a variety of presentations, as well as allowing time for you to enjoy the park and meet people from a variety of ministries. Kentucky Horse Park has given us a special discounted admission rate. - 10 am Registration and Welcome in the South Theatre

- 3 pm Asbury College Equine Students, demonstration of training mounted police horses
- 3:30 pm Paul Daily, Wild Horse Ministries, demonstrating of training
